Brandi Vines: Co-Editor.

I am a junior here at Conner High School where I moved to my freshman year.  Although it was hard making new friends I have adjusted well.  I’ve been in Newspaper for three years now and enjoy every moment of it.  I also golf for the Lady Cougar’s Varsity Team.  I am hoping to receive a scholarship both athletically and academically.  My dream has always been to attend The University of Kentucky although I prefer the small school atmosphere.  I love writing although I’m not up to the competitiveness that is required to maintain a career as a journalist.  I am planning on either becoming a Nurse or majoring in Equine Science.  Although I am ready to get out of here and start getting the rest of my life started, I do have to say I’m going to miss the memories. 

Jordan Rabe: Co-Editor.

My name is Jordan Rabe.  I am a senior at Conner.  I have been given the privilege to be the Co-Editor for our school newspaper.  I enjoy writing and finding what is going on in the community.  Music is a huge part in my life.  Playing guitar is what you can find me doing in my spare time.

Kasey McCormick: Staff Writer.

My name is Kasey McCormick.  I am a senior this year at Conner.  Family means a lot to me.  I swim competitively.  Swimming is a big part of my life, seeing that, I aspire to swim at a college level next year.

Taylor Cole: Staff Writer.

My name is Taylor Cole and I am a senior here at Conner.  Writing hasn’t always been something I wanted to pursue as a career but in the past year I realized I would love to be a journalist.  I have always loved reading many different types of books and writing stories for my class.  I am new to writing for the online newspaper this year but I enjoy doing it immensely.  I hope to go to Northern Kentucky University for my basic classes for college and after that I am still deciding between Western University or the University of Kentucky.  I want to major in journalism and intern at a local newspaper establishment.  in my free time I work and enjoy hanging out with my family and close friends, eating at my favorite restaurant Brio’s, watching movies, and of course, reading books.

Sydney Maydak: Staff Writer.

Hi, I’m Sydney.  My role here at the paper usually consists of reporting on current events in the world and politics.  some interesting facts you may want to know about me are that I played a lead male role (iago) in a school production of Othello: the Moore of Venice and I was home schooled form kindergarten until freshman year.  Iam also a huge NASCAR fan (go Keselowski!) and I have been to four Nextel Cup races and two Nationwide Series races.

Tanya Tullius: Staff Writer.

I’m from Los Angeles, California, and I love Sushi.  I someday want to be a journalist for either a magazine or newspaper.  I love high school because these are the years you’re going to cherish for the rest of your life.  I’m optimistic and I try to stay positive no matter what.  I love being a redhead because you rarely see any in school.  Writing is my passion and of course I don’t know everything about it, it being my first year in newspaper, but hopefully when I’m a senior next year I’ll be a much better writer than i started out to be.

“Jazz” Jackson: Staff Writer.

I am an intelligent young lady that loves to read, rap, write and act.  Since I am athletic my passion is basketball, track, football, and boxing.  I love school, knowledge is power.  I also love to dance.  I am more of a krump and hip-hop dancer.  I love to dress; people say I should be a model.  I have a mindset to graduate and go to Georgia State University in Atlanta Georgia, or Syracuse in New York.  I would like to major in Broadcast Journalism and minor in law.  I am truly in love with  God and I know he will not leave nor forsake me but guide me on the road to success.
