May 1, 2009
Many students do not realize how much they will truly miss high school until the end becomes near. With a little over a month left of school, excitement is growing along with hundreds of seniors nerves.
“There were many highs and lows throughout my years here at Conner High School,” said senior Jordan Rabe. “It’s sad to think the year is almost over, and my high school memories are coming to an end.”
Although high school is filled with drama, the good memories are the ones that will last a lifetime. Students will be looking back on all the fun filled times they shared with friends. Memories of the first day of school, how embarrassed they were when they fell up the stairs with all the upper classmen staring at them, and their first high school relationships will always be in their minds.
“I will never forget my last high school football game where we made it to play offs for the first time in a while, by beating Tates Creek,” said senior Callie Masters, “It was unforgettable.”
The 2008-2009 school year is a year of many changes for students at Conner High School. Many friends were separated by the redistricting that Boone County after the building of Randall Cooper High School. Along with losing students Conner lost many great faculty members, but in return gained many others.
“I want to wish the best to all my fellow classmates in wherever life may lead them,” said senior Jordan Bailey.
